I recently recertified the pattern. The difference between the old and the new pattern is significant. The overlap between professional exams, associates, and even Solutions Architect and DevOps exams has been drastically reduced.

The AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (SAP-01) exam lasted 170 minutes and had 75 questions.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (SAP–C01) focuses a lot upon concepts and services related Architecture & Design.
Each question addresses multiple AWS services.
Questions and answers can be a lot of prose, and there is a lot more reading involved. Be prepared and be efficient with your time.
You can mark the questions you have not answered and then move on.
A rough layout or mental picture of your setup can help you focus on the areas you need to improve. Trust me, you’ll be able eliminate 2 answers and then focus only on the other 2. To check the difference area, you can read the other answers. This will help you get the right answer or at the very least, a 50% chance of getting it right.
