Can you believe another year has passed and we are already in 2022? I am proving my age by stating that I can recall partying to welcome in the new century. Let’s all hope that this year will be a good one. Fingers crossed for some relief from the ups and downs of the current business environment.
With this in mind, I started to think about resolutions – the start of new habits. I think about the habits that I used to have but haven’t been able to focus on in recent years. This is the time of year that individuals begin to think about what is most important and how they can live the best life possible. Why can’t teams do this? Talk to your colleagues about the new habits you want to create or reinforce in the coming year.
Below is an infographic that shows what I have been thinking about for my projects. If you’re going to create a list of resolutions for your team, it should be something that you and your co-create. Don’t just hand them a list. Have a team meeting to discuss what is important for the organisation as well as for their professional development. Then, pin the list somewhere everyone can see.
